Rangers' Agu, Nwobodo sink Bendel Insurance as Rangers win 2-0

K. A Agu (33rd miniature) and C.Nwobodo (65th) kept Bendel Insurance at bay by scoring for Enugu Rangers at the match held at Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu. 

After a slight midweek set back in which Enugu Rangers lost 1-0 to old foe, Shooting Stars of Ibadan, Bendel Insurance have suffered a defeat at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu, in the hands of Flying Antelopes.

With the current league standing, Enugu Rangers is in arguable the expected 2023-24 Nigeria Premier Football League champion.

The Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, known as Enugu Cathedral, has poven to be a crucifying ground by Enugu Rangers and Bendel Insurance could not escape. Last week, Enyimba escaped with a walk out even though Enugu Rangers were later awarded the full points.
